A Day in the Life of Gary the Gecko at Fridays at Three
The tiny lizard with a big personality
Hello, humans.
I’m Gary the Gecko.
Yes — that gecko. The one who lives above the patio light and occasionally chirps at 2am for no reason other than drama.
You may think you’re on holiday…
but really, you’re visiting my house.

Let me walk you through a typical day.
6:12am — The Human Stampede
You wake up. Loudly.
Someone drops a spoon. A child demands pancakes.
I do my morning plank on the wall and pretend I’m unbothered.
9:03am — Breakfast Observation Shift
I take my position on the ceiling directly above the fruit bowl.
I judge you for cutting mangoes incorrectly.
I judge you even more when someone screams because they thought I was a spider.
11:47am — Sunning Myself Like a Lizard King
I find the perfect warm patch on the patio and bask like I’m posing for National Geographic.
A nearby toddler sees me and yells, “DRAGON!!!”
Correct, child. Bow before me.
2:15pm — Fridge Surveillance
You open the fridge.
You stare, close it, open it again.
I watch from the wall like a tiny auditor ensuring you comply with cold-snack regulations.
5:28pm — The Great Insect Buffet
The patio light turns on.
My moment has arrived.
I zip around like a sugar-fuelled ninja, inhaling mosquitoes, moths, and anything else that wanders too close.
You point and say, “Look at him go!”
Yes. Look at me.
I am magnificent.
8:50pm — The Ceiling Stampede
Another gecko arrives.
We chase each other at a speed that suggests we are either fighting or flirting.
You will never know which.
11:59pm — Midnight Serenade
I chirp. Loudly.
Why?
Because I can.
Because I’m tiny and powerful.
Because this is my Airbnb.
Sweet dreams, humans.
